A fire broke out on the porch of a short-term rental in a Draper neighborhood. Families in the shared-wall units were home at the time. Dear Mayor Walker and City Council Members, I am a Draper resident writing to ask you to ban non-owner-occupied short-term rentals in our residential neighborhoods. Residents should not have to live next to an unsupervised hotel. I ask that you vote to ban non-owner-occupied short-term rentals in Draper's residential zones.

Personal stories carry the most weight. If you've had issues with a short-term rental near you, add a sentence about your experience.
